CHILD CUSTODY DRUG (Limit of Detection) TESTING:

($75 PER TEST) The child custody drug testing protocol includes zero tolerance testing. That is if any amount of drug is determined to be present (by GCMS), it will be reported. Cutoff concentrations are not used, but the limit of detection by GCMS (gas-chromatography/mass spectrometry) is the only limitation. This produces testing that is three to one hundred times more sensitive than typical "employment" drug testing and therefore enables the detection of drugs for longer periods of time (several days to several weeks longer in some cases). The approximate limits of detection are as follows:

Drug

GC-MS Confirmation (ng/ml)

THC (Marijuana)

1

Amphetamines

Methamphetamine

20

Amphetamine

20

Cocaine Metabolite

30

Opiates

Morphine

30

Codeine

30

Ethanol

0.01% (W/V)

This sensitive testing is joined with DDL's effective collection protocol (see SPECIMEN COLLECTION) to provide the most sensitive and effective drug testing available. The cost for this service is $75. Further combined with the RANDOM CALL program, this test will provide reliable evidence of drug use or non-use of an individual.
